    Hostess was overwhelmed, very little communication. People waiting to be seated while a baby shower was taking place. Main room was being set up for a wedding- boxes everywhere. For the price we expected a better experience. Our waiter was great and very knowledgeable on history of the Grand Concourse. Food was mediocre at best. Soup was creamy broth with a measly crouton. Salmon was just ok nothing remarkable. The drinks were the best part.

    Server was stretched too thin. He was friendly and genuine but forgot things. Beautiful view, gorgeous interior. Food was good.

    The Grand Concourse has become a tradition for us at Thanksgiving. It is such a beautiful place, reminiscent of old world grandeur, elegance, and finesse. You absolutely cannot find more exquisite food anywhere else at Thanksgiving. Their buffet offers an amazing variety of dishes at a reasonable price! Their attention to detail and their exceptional client service makes our Thanksgiving celebration there a truly phenomenal and delightful experience! A special shout out to Herbert, Moses, Cole, and Jesse, our exceptional servers! We have become family and we look forward to enjoying Thanksgiving dinner there every year! To all who work so hard to make this memorable for everyone who attends, a heartfelt thank you! And to the chefs, your food is nothing less than perfection!

    This was our first time at the grand concourse. It was absolutely beautiful! Our server Stacy explained each food /dessert station and where they were located. She was amazing!!! I also had experienced Jesse (I believe he is a manager) at the host station first then he came to our table a few times to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. He was also amazing and very personable. Our overall experience was great!!! We will definitely be back in the near future. Jesse also encouraged us to come back for the brunch.

    Our server was wonderful! The only reason I didn't do 5 stars overall was because we waited for an hour to get a table in spite of having reservations, and then the buffet line was a long wait time. (I think this is probably expected for Thanksgiving, but it was a lot of waiting.) The food was good.

    I think it Is time for the Grand Concourse to upgrade and improve their reservation services. This is a highly recommended and popular restaurant still living in the Stone Age where they cannot adequately accommodate guests reservation. It’s Thanksgiving Day and my family had reservation for 6:45pm. They were already falling behind an hour and could not keep up. The lobby was full and they are “yelling out” names of the next party to be seated. With today’s technology, text communication is an effective way to reach your guest to accommodate and there should be a time limit on seating for special holiday events. Although my family waited over an hour and half pass our reservation time their Thanksgiving Buffet is always great!

    Waiting to be called for our reservation was hectic. No organization and the hostesses needed a microphone so you could hear over the chatter and radio playing in the background. Otherwise, the service and food were excellent.
