Unfortunately, we had a rough experience at Grand Concourse. We are from out of town, and I was excited to spend an evening here celebrating my partner’s 30th birthday. We arrive 5 minutes prior to our reservation time, and wait for 30 more minutes after that. I approached the hostess and asked for an update—as it is appearing that the reservation didn’t matter. They asked multiple other guests to sit in the bar as they had overbooked and were not turning any tables away. The hostess immediately goes to seat us, and seats us at a dirty table. We wait for the table to be bussed, and a waitress pushes my partner out of the aisle. Understanding that he shouldn’t have been in the aisle under normal circumstances, but we had no where else to go as we waited for the host to clean our table. We are from out of town and we didn’t know that they were doing an Easter buffet. I asked the hostess if the buffet was the only option, upon which she said “yeah, I thought that was pretty clear”. Perhaps I should have done more research, but this restaurant came highly recommended from local friends, and I wouldn’t have imagined a buffet as the only dining option; nor would I have expected such terrible service. We left and sought dinner elsewhere. This is disappointing since the restaurant is so beautiful inside.

Absolutely awful. Seated almost 40 minutes late. Chaotic with way too many people. Most of the stations had empty trays. Wait at the carving station was 10+ minutes and when we got to the front they were out of half of the food. We had to share silverware because we were never given complete sets. Water glasses had lipstick on them. The women’s restroom was a biohazard situation. $220 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Really big letdown. Will never go back.

Always enjoy The Grand Concourse Brunch but Easter Sunday was not the best, alot of food was gone and our reservation was for 5:45. Got the last two pieces of smoked salmon, assumed more was to be served but was not, had to scrap the bowls for capers and red onion... Ceaser Salad was limp and ony a quarter of the bowl, no croutons. The carver made sure we got at least one piece of lamb which we waited for for at least 20 min and it was the last piece to be served? Our server was Tyler and she is the best, we were so happy that was a perk! The food just was not taken care of as we are used to, don't take so many reservations if you can't accomidate... buffet was not kept up and some of the foods (scalloped potatoes) were dry and needed addressed. Seafood lasagna too. Will not come on a special Holiday again, just a regular Sunday that you are able to keep up with the quality of the food. Kudo's to the carver that took special care to make sure we got lamb and Tayler is the best!!

The restaurant was overbooked and the buffet was not set up to handle the number of guests. It was hard to move around and the line for the single carving station was always long. At one point there were no dinner plates available at the hot food table. The food was good but didn’t stay hot by the time we got back to our table. Our server, Lindsay, was very good.

Unfortunately the was the worst dining experience we have ever had!!!!! I had been going there for years absolutely love that place! Started with the parking we were unable to get out ticket validated. Our reservation was at 515pm we arrived at 455pm was told it was going to be a 40min past the 515pm mark! I expressed to them we had a reservation and the reply was that everyone there had a reservation. We walked over to the Gandy Dancer side of the restaurant and found a table! Great! The place was PACKED! Our bartender was very prompt in getting to us. We then proceeded to the different stations to wait in very long lines. Took over 20min for the one carving station. Then we went back up to the pasta station and was told be a server that the line was too long and could not stand there, we need to make a double row. I looked at my husband the server said "I am trying to show you"! Became very confrontational with F bombs being dropped!! I have never seen anything like this behavior!! Immediately asked for the manager! He came over and was very apologetic, I told him we could leave to avoid any further interaction! He said he wanted us to stay and enjoy our dinner and Easter holiday. We were both so upset, then a gentleman approached us and said he experience the same thing earlier! There was a lot of food and many choices but very sub par!

Overbooked, lines too long, waited a half hour to be seated. Food was too scattered. Would not attend again.

Dined with my mom for the Easter buffet. We’ve attended in the past but it has severely gone downhill. With the overcrowding, we weren’t sat until about 20-25 minutes after our reservation time. The lines to the buffet were horrible and the food was worse. The price we paid was not worth the quality of the food or the experience. Almost $70 per person for dried out food was not worth it. No issues with our server. I know this is cliche and restaurants don’t care, but we won’t be returning after this experience.
