This was the 3rd time in the last 4 years we brought our family to the Grand concourse for high level holiday lunch. Usually bring 10 but our so. And grandchildren from California had to cancel this year. We were never informed that there would be a one price menu. But the menu was very comprehensive. Menu had enough options to satisfy everyone. Our waiter, Robert, was very helpful as both my wife and one of our guests were lactose intolerant! He checked with the kitchen and gave very good options. Everyone enjoyed the meal. My wife and I are very pleased.

Over an hour for my wife to get her drink she ordered. I went to the bar and got her one my self. 40 min without waiters stopping at table. 72 dollar ribeye was way over cooked and dry. Scallops came burnt. Awful experience for a 300 dollar meal. Fast food would have been a better choice

Took 20 min to take our order and another hour to get the dinners for 4 people in RiverRoom. Very noisy with big groups at larger tables. One of the shrimp dinners came with 4 little shrimp and 2 stalks of asparagus. After complaining to manager, though, the items were replaced with full portions. Seems that they replaced traditional bread and spread offerings and reduced dinner portion sizes over the last few years. Wait staff was overloaded and had trouble servicing our table. We have been coming here for years, but quality has gone down. hill.

Not only is this one of the prettiest restaurants that we have ever eaten in the service, and food is wonderful. We honeymooned at station square 40 years ago and have returned on several occasions. The Grand Concourse has never disappointed. Tonight for our anniversary I enjoyed the duck and my wife had the scallops both were delicious and wonderfully presented. Started and ended the meal with a pearfect martini which was also delicious. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. We will be back.

The restaurant is a beautiful setting along the river, but the steak I ordered was not done correctly twice, my potatoes and veggies were served cold and it took nearly an hour to get our food. The manager never came to apologize or inquire how they could make things right, but they did comp the meal I didn’t eat. We wanted dessert, but it took the waiter another 20 minutes to take our order, so we did not have time for dessert due to another obligation. Overall, very disappointing for a highly rated restaurant in Pittsburgh.

Had Sunday brunch at the Grand Concourse in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere was very festive and the decorations were beautiful. The food was delicious and there was so much to choose from. Had a bit of a wait for our reservation seating but it was worth the wait. The dining experience was enjoyable and I would recommend it for any occasion.

The food was fabulous (Sunday Brunch Buffet) and the service was above par, however, we were not seated for our 1:45 reservation until 2:15. Not to worry, as the buffet is available until 3:30. With this in mind, I had a cocktail and took my time with my meal. Only problem is that they began tear down at 3:15. So, when we went to get dessert at 3:20 more than half of it had been removed.
