I recently had the opportunity to dine at Hell's Kitchen, and overall, it was a great experience, though not without its quirks. From the moment we arrived, the service was commendable. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening. The drinks were a highlight, expertly crafted and refreshing, setting a positive tone for our meal. The sides were also impressive, bursting with flavor and complementing our main dishes beautifully. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection, but unfortunately, it lacked the flavor I was hoping for. It was a bit disappointing, especially given the hype surrounding the restaurant. On the brighter side, the fish dish was delightful, as was the rosato, which paired well with our meal. One notable hiccup was the wait time; it took about an hour for our order to arrive. When the food finally came, I received short ribs instead of the fish I had ordered. However, the staff was quick to rectify the mistake, and within five minutes, I had the correct dish in front of me. This made me wonder why the initial wait was so long, considering how swiftly they handled the mix-up. While the experience was enjoyable, I did find it a bit on the pricey side. Overall, Hell's Kitchen offers a vibrant atmosphere and solid service, but there's room for improvement in the execution of some dishes.

Everything came out great and fast. Our waitresses were awesome. The restaurant was clean and they brought out our dessert with a candle and Happy birthday chocolate for my husband! We will be back to try the lunch menu.

Now I fully understand why the Beef Wellington is so popular. It was amazing! Well-seasoned with a flakey crust and cooked medium to perfection. I was there for lunch and had the petite version which just enough of this decadent treat.

We really enjoyed our birthday celebration. The beef Wellington was 10/10 and so were the scallops and the toffee cake. The drinks were extremely small for the price but delicious.

Food wasn’t that good for the price, salmon was tasteless. Ginger cocktail was un-drinkable and had to be sent back. 20% service charge (not gratuity) added to the overall bill. Parking was 27$. All in all the meal cost over $300.00 for 2 of us. Won’t be going back. Would have been happier going to Firebirds or Capital Grill. Don’t waste your money.

We were so excited to eat here. We have dined at Hells Kitchen in Atlantic City and that restaurant was our best dining experience ever. The DC location was not pleasant. We were cold - there was a terrible draft. The layout of the restaurant did not allow you to see the kitchen. Our food was not good. We did not enjoy our meals. The taste just was not there for us this time. The chicken was rubbery and the puree served with it was bitter. My cappuccino tasted burnt. To be fair the risotto and the braised rib itself (not what it was served with) were very good. We would not go back.

The express lunch was wonderful! A 3 course meal allowed us to experience famous dishes on the menu.
