   We enjoyed the Signature Fondue and added the bratwurst. The bread for fondue was the right texture, firm and almost dried out (in a good way), so that as you dipped break into the fondue, it kept its structure and did not disintegrate into the fondue. Bread was dry but good, and perfect for dipping. The scallops starter was a nice pairing of creamed corn and lingonberry - this creative combination was so yummy! Pumpkin gnocchi was also a winner for us. We were there celebrating the sale of our condo, and the dessert chef created a dessert specifically for us with a chocolate drizzle in the shape of a house. So clever and unexpected. A great place when you want to splurge & celebrate. Highly recommend. The ambiance transports you to Europe.

   Best meal we had during our stay in Park City. The food and drinks were amazing, on top of the fantastic service, we could not have pick a better place to dine. I would come back to Park City just to dine at the Goldener Hirsch.

   We have dined here many times over several years. Was one of our favorites. But this year have had 2 mediocre experiences. Last month ordered lamb shank and although the flavor was nice, the dish was not at all warm. The server was lovely and had the dish warmed again and it was good enough. Last night 2 in our party ordered the beef cheeks. Normally these are amazing and are so tender they just fall apart. Last night, again both dishes were not warm. Seemed to have been sitting out awhile while the steaks and duck in our party were being prepared. The meat and the potatoes were cold for both of us. And both dishes were not tender as I remember. More of a chunk of meat you really had to cut than fall apart tender as in the past. I thought having a cold entree a few weeks ago was a one off. But this is the second time in a row. For the price I would expect better preparation. The fondue was yummy as usual as well as the desserts and the wine. The amuse-bouche was delicious and the server brought a complementary sunflower seed bread b/c our entrees were very delayed coming out of the kitchen (perhaps this was why our beef cheeks sat around so long and got cold).

   It’s always a pleasure to have dinner at Goldener Hirsh, it never disappoints. Impeccable service, every one greets you with your name or surname in the most respectful way. Elegant ambiance, delicious food, the fondue is one of the outstanding dishes, and around us many tables ordered it. This time we had the wonderful sea bass, very subtle flavors, and the duck breast, very very good. To top it all off, The pear frangipane, not too sweet,perfect for our liking.

   Cozy and elegant, love this restaurant: especially for fondue with a view of the snow! Would have preferred a tastier bread and white bratwurst rather than red, but the fondue hit the spot. Next time will order the homemade pretzel that looked delicious.
