   Lunch with friends at the Golden Cock, Farnley Tyas was brilliant, everything hot and quality and value for money very good. We will be going again and I recommend you try it very pleasant experience.

   Evening set menu is good value for good food. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Good choice of beers and wines.

   Food was very good. Same price as similar establishments. Only given 4 stars because chocolate delice was dry. Service was good until after desserts and then no staff were to be seen. Shame. Definitely will go back.

   The service was a bit slow to begin with but then improved and overall a good experience, 2 of the items of food on the menu were not available. The food was a good standard and presented well. There was a lively but comfortable atmosphere and will definitely be back in the future.

   furniture was rickety our table. 3 of our dishes were served on wooden platters which were two small for the meal and looked most unsuitable for the food being served.

   Had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends. Service friendly and prompt. Nice selection of food, not just Sunday roast, reasonably priced. There's an outside seating area with lots of tables with views over countryside that one can eat at when weather decent. Inside there's restaurant and bar areas.
