Amazing food and service. Tables were set very close where we sat, almost family-style dining. We went there on a recommendation and we were not disappointed!

They accommodated my wife and my seven year-old daughter very well. We were very appreciative. My daughter was hangry and they reacted quickly, brought her out something to get her appetite taken care of. The food was colorful, flavorful, and we loved it.

The food was absolutely delicious! The Sautéed Green Beans started us off ooing and ahhing and each dish just got better. We couldn't decided between the Goat Empanadas or the Confit Goat Belly. Our server said the empanadas were more popular, but he preferred the goat belly. We went with his recommendation and did not regret it!! We could have eaten double of it and of the Roasted Oysters. But then we wouldn't have been able to finish the Sticky Glazed Pork Shank. The only regret was no room to try dessert. We received excellent service throughout, from the hostess to our server. The wait staff kept our table clean and glasses full.

Come in from Grand Rapids this weekend for the shamrock shuffle and I have been on a mission to eat at as many celebrity chef restaurants as I can, we chose girl and the goat over the wild and varied menu. It did not disappoint!!! From the ambiance of the place to the food. I cannot get over the level of perfection each dish had. I was blown away and will be back again! The cherry would have been to snag a staff shirt as I need one so badly! Or to have seen Chef Izard in there.

Overall, I enjoyed my dinner here. The cocktails and food were top notch. The sautéed green beans were a surprise show-stealer! However, the portion sizes were very small, especially for the price. The goat empanadas were completely average; I wish we had ordered one of the other goat dishes. The environment is extremely loud. The interior of the restaurant is full of hard surfaces with nothing to absorb sound, resulting in a meal where we had to shout across the table to hear each other. In short, the food was excellent, but the noise and the lack of value for money will probably keep me from coming back.

Seems there is a reason for its perennial popularity. Food and service were both top notch. Dined solo at the bar and had a great experience.
