I called to move our reservation out 30 minutes to 7pm around 530pm and they moved it fine. When we got there it had been raining throughout the day and they said the terrace was closed and we would have to go on the waitlist for a different level. Not sure why when I called at 530pm to move my reservation they didn't explain that the terrace was in fact closed..

It was a beautiful day in La Jolla. The terrace view was wonderful. Great service and food. The only item of inconvenience was the ladies restroom wast three floors down. No elevator. The stairs from the main level to the bottom level very dark and hard to see the steps. Other than that inconvenience we will definitely dine there again.

Went with a friend for a lunch on Saturday afternoon. We arrived a few minutes late and the kitchen closes at 330 and doesn’t open again till 430, so we just ordered ceviche and fries so we would inconvenience the kitchen. They was hardly any fish in the ceviche. It was more like a bowl of pico de gallo with a few little pieces of fish here and there. It was hardly worth paying $16 for. The fries were super yummy and so was the chipotle aioli the server recommended. Drinks we pricey and underwhelming, if I return I think I’ll stick to wine. The ocean view is stunning and the reason we went. We asked the server if we could move to an open table closer to the glass so we could have an unobstructed view for the remainder of our cocktails. Considering they wouldn’t be seating for another hour it didn’t seem like it should be an issue. She went to check with someone and returned to inform us we could not move. That was really disappointing. We then finished our first drink and left to another spot.

Beautiful setting on a clear sunny day. We enjoyed lunch here. Ate here several years ago and it was such a memorable experience that we decided to try it again on a return visit to La Jolla. It did not disappoint.
