George Martin has three restaurants in Rockville Centre. This one takes reservations, but is more like an upscale sports bar. Parking can be difficult since the area is chock full of restaurants and the restaurant is across the street from a movie theatre. The menu is somewhat limited, but the food is good, as is the service. The place is somewhat on the loud side. The crusted salmon, short ribs were both excellent. The tacos were just OK.

I made my reservation for 8:45PM & the restaurant closed at 9:00PM. It was very disappointing that the time slot was even available so close the the closing time.

Food was great. The quesadilla was unique flavor and I loved the thin crust÷ I was hoping he had done something about the ceiling from previous restaurant. Too noisy...conversation from surrrounding tables is too loud...

This location has been a staple for us for years back to Grillfire. Excellent service and food. Good value and great ambiance. A great stop for dinner before a movie (we saw Mission Impossible across the street). Just make your reservation on Open Table and you're ready to go.
