   Excellent Sunday roast with all the trimmings, good service, let down slightly by the worst Eton mess I have ever seen, just cream and fruit. To be fair to our server when she asked why it was left and we explained there was little to no meringue in the dessert she did take it off the bill.

   It was Fish and chips Friday. Outstanding value and the pub is looking good as well The staff were friendly and attentive, nice Guinness as well

   Went there after reading several reviews. Easy booking (and also booking time change). Reception good. Food very good, especially the pork belly! Food quality excellent. The only VERY minor point was that we felt a little rushed. The drink order was taken quickly (excellent!) and the started quite shortly after that. The main course was served really a little fast after finishing the starters and we would have preferred a little more time to settle. I fully realise that a lot of people always complain about delayed service so this was unusual and a VERY MINOR COMMENT. We would obviously use again when suitable.

    Came here for a roast after a long hike! The food was incredible. The service was great! The pub itself is cosy inside but the garden and back room is open and will be lovely in the coming sunny days! Highly recommend. Staff were all brilliant and helpful
