   My friend and I had a wonderful experience here. We didn't know what to expect but had heard good things about the place. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. I also appreciated the list of creative non-alcoholic beverages for myself! Do yourself a favour and don't skip out on dessert!

   I celebrated my birthday here with my husband. Unfortunately we were seated next to the kitchen and the service door downstairs so we didn't get the best views of the space which is too bad as it is an interesting room. Service was quite good, no complaints. The food had hits and misses. Our biggest disappointment was the $118.00 ribeye. The meat was a bit tough and the flavour was off. All we could taste was lamb. Not quite sure why. I think if you are serving a $118 plate of beef, it better be amazing. I would say the best thing we ate was the Banoffee pie dessert. The Bluefin Carpaccio was also quite good, as well as the endive salad. The rest of what we ordered was average. We had a good time, but probably will not return. Overall, it is overpriced for what it is.

   My only complaint is that Le Swan is not also open for lunch. It’s mildly embarrassing coming to GP so many times.

   Very chic space on Geary. Excellent, innovative, eclectic food, cocktails and wine. Solid attentive service. Portions not large.

   Food was phenomenal, service from Neal and team was amazing, vibe was immaculate. Can’t wait to return. What we ordered, Endive salad - beautifully balanced and fresh Seafood tower - so fresh and amazing flavours. Only note is that the crab legs are very much whole so was a little difficult to shuck ourselves but we managed. Popcorn clams and mussels - light, crispy, delicious. Order it!! Skate wing - Cooked perfectly, surprising flavour combinations but worked so so well Surf ‘n’ turf - ugh, amazing. Perfectly cooked lobster, crispy sweetbreads, sauce was nicely seasoned and rich NY strip - nicely cooked and great flavour. Only note was that although cooked perfectly mid rare, the actual temperature of the steak was a little cold but not a huge deal English chips - best french fries ever eaten. Malt powder and beef fat, can’t go wrong Banoffee pie - very rich, could use a smidge of acidity to cut through it but still excellent Drinks are also great. Both alcoholic and non. Had too many of each to remember for this review. Overall, fantastic night. Will be back many times.

   My husband and I came in for snacks and drinks last night and had an amazing time. The food was awesome. Such a great combo of flavours in every dish. I’ll be thinking about that lamb tartare until we come back. Even the fries were next level. The details are so clearly thought out in everything they do - from every dish, and how they’re presented, to the absolutely gorgeous decor. What a gem!
