I made reservations to eat here on Easter Sunday. We arrived at the restaurant and drove around 5 or 6 times looking for a parking space. I didn't see any parking available, there was no valet, and the restaurant wasn't answering the phone. We walked in to be seated, then went to the restroom. It was really tiny in there with only one stall open, there was no tissue or soap in the restroom had to wait in the restroom while staff went and looked for both. We sat down to order then we were told they were not serving anything on the regular menu for the exception of crawfish and oysters and were only selling brunch had I known that I would have never made reservations we didn't come there to eat brunch it was 2pm after church no longer wanted brunch. We ordered something we really didn't want, and there wasn't much to choose from. We got our food and asked for an extra plate, didn't get it, and had to ask again. We asked for syrup and hot sauce, but we never got it. We received one small little thin piece of fish with our food. and when they brought out the small plate of cornbread, they didn't bring extra plates to eat on nor any napkins. The waitress really wasn't that helpful. and no one else spoke english. Never received any of the condiments we asked for so finally I got up and walked to the front door to find someone who spoke english to ask yet again for condiments, by this time food had gotten cold and we really didn't even want the food at this point. We also ordered lemon drops and there was no sugar on the rim i mentioned it to the waitress she said you have to request it, something else we also didn't know until after we received the drinks, with the amount of time to get all these things we asked for we just said forget it, paid for the bill $140.00 for stuff that wasn't ate. We had a terrible Easter dinner we WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! worst service we have ever experienced.

We made reservations for 8:30, online hours stated they closed at 10:00. Well the owner decided to close at 10:00 that night without giving us notice. The clean up is how we figured it out and confirmed with our waitress. The hookah had a good flavor but coal needed to be replaced which was refused due to the closing time being in 20 mins. I have had hookah at several places and the coal never needed to be replaced in less than an hr. The food did have good flavor but portions seemed small, appetizer did taste rushed. The drinks were weak, I am a social drinker that does not get out often, normally one drink does it for me. I had no buzz at all afterwards when normally half a drink does. Our waitress however was really nice. We were also charged gratuity for only a party of 4. I was really looking forward to try based off other reviews of their experience. It was very disappointing to suggest the restaurant to my out of town guest for her birthday to not have a good experience. We were not the only one that felt that way, while waiting for our vehicle we spoke with a couple that shared they would not return either. How can you accept a 2 hour reservation but then close within an hr and half of that arrival time. The environment was nice, music was entertaining but I will not return. I hope they can fix these issues for those who will visit in the future.

This was my second time visiting the restaurant and it was so great. The bartender and the gentleman that waited on us was sooooo great. The food was amazing. They oysters were great, the cornbread and the drinks was 1000/10. Will definitely come back again. Y’all did a great job with this restaurant.

Visited this restaurant during black restaurant week & I’ll start with the food did not disappoint but the service definitely left something to be desired. We were promptly sat but waited 25 mins for a server & water. Meanwhile another party of 2 sat down next to us & were tended to immediately upon sitting down. When asked if we had a server the server from that table told us “she’s coming”. Not sure why the same server can’t handle 2 tables next to each other but okay, sure. At this point we were ready to leave but the server who did come to assist us (ask for Tish) was honestly great and changed our entire experience. Tish was very knowledgeable of the menu and honest with her suggestions. The food arrived promptly & was hot. The drinks were good & she was very attentive. Our order consisted of the crab stuffed shrimp appetizer, the jambalaya pasta, the grilled red snapper w/ red beans and rice & broccoli. The cocktails we ordered were the Texas 75 & the Gator Drop. All in all I would attend this restaurant again. Had we not had the server issue initially I would rate the experience higher.

The oysters were a bit overcooked. The red snapper was as well. The fries are well seasoned.

Expect a hidden gratuity for mediocre food. Not worth going to unless you want a drink/hookah…better dinner establishments nearby
