   Always an incredible experience when we go there with our midshipmen from the US Merchant Marine Academy. They make us feel at home and always thank our midshipmen for their service. This is so important to us because none of us live in the local area. This past weekend we went to celebrate one of our midshipmen's birthdays and the owner graciously provided our large party free desserts to share. Our meals and drinks are always superb. So grateful to have found this place, it's like a second home for us when we visit. We will be going there for many years to come.

   We love Garcies Point. It has become one of our favorite restaurants nearby. They are friendly and the beer is good. I love Batallion 5. It is great. I have had the ribs, the hamburger, and the steak & frites, and I would recommend them. I love the dining area. Very comfortable and lively as well. I have mobility issues, but it is easy to get in because it has a nice space to move around. I will keep coming back.

   We had not been to Garvies Point Brewery and Restaurant since the summer. We had a great time. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. The Short Rib flatbread is a must have! The burger was cooked perfect! We will be back soon.

   Beer is great. Food has been extremely disappointing on multiple occasions. Tried the taco special tonight…be prepared to leave hungry. Practically no meat on any of the tacos.

   Christopher, while we are glad you enjoyed the beer, it was upsetting to hear that you were dissatisfied with your food. We are known to have great food, so we wish you would have notified your server of any issues that you had with the food, so we could have made you something new.
