    It's Restaurant Week, and we hadn't been to Gandy Dancer in ages. We went with friends, and all went very well, nice table by the window (it was sunny), excellent service, and very good food. BUT, way too expensive, $95 with tip, for 2 cups of soup, 2 entrees, one key lime pie (excellent) and one coffee. So much for ordering off the special menu. Inflation has hit the public hard or was the pricing actually amped up for this special dining week in Ann Arbor?

    This was my first time at Gandy Dancer; a friend of mine and I visited for a restaurant week! The building is a beautiful and the service was great and the food was delicious. Great for special occasions or an extra nice night out.

    The food, atmosphere, and value were outstanding, and all during restaurant week! Lisa, our server, was so professional, attentive, and friendly, that she made the dinner experience all the more special.

    Food quality was not to our expectations. One meal was not hot - arrived less than warm. Portions were less than expected for cost of meal. Not to standards of previous dining experiences at this restaurant.

    Great service, yummy food, and lovely ambiance! Our server, Alex was very attentive and so pleasant. It was fun when the train passed by…everyone clapped and a bell was rung…a very enjoyable evening.

    Service was exceptional, and food great. Lower score because had asked for a quieter table due to patron hard of hearing’s birthday; unfortunately, we were sat right on a major walkway directly outside the kitchen. For a $500 meal, it was disappointing.

    Excellent service by Kelly our waitress, and phenomenal food by Chef Lauren especially the Cioppino, fantastic. The only weird thing was that the 4 top table adjacent to us had a dachshund dog in the guys lap. This is just stupid of people. And I highly doubt it was a service dog dressed in a Burberry dog coat. Unfortunately it’s a sign of the liberal times in America.
