   Yuck. This is the second time dining here. The first time was during happy hour. I didn’t like the food or drinks, but I don’t like to rule restaurants out, since not every day is a great day. Sadly, I had the same experience. This time I went after happy hour. Same bad experience. The drinks were watered down. The food is mediocre at best. Very disappointing. I was really hoping that it would be better but it was not. I paid $30 for what was supposed to be a Cobb salad. There were no salad greens, just a bunch of shaved carrots. There was no avocado, no bacon, no blue cheese, no boiled eggs, just a bunch of yuck. The only saving grace was that the shrimp on the salad was tasty.

   Great spot. Food was perfect, especially the raw oysters. Has an old school steakhouse feel too It’s not cheap but it’s also not over the top pricey. Highly recommend it

   This is our favorite restaurant not only because the food is delicious and reasonably priced, but the wait staff are all extremely friendly and efficient.

   I had a fantastic experience at Galo Tavern 18! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a great meal. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, Galo Tavern 18 exceeded my expectations.    We’ve dined at Galo about 5 times, and while the food is usually good, last night’s meal was pretty disappointing. The swordfish was awful - it was severely overcooked, and tasted funky. My dining companions were not thrilled with the pork loin and chicken either. Fortunately, the desserts were enjoyable, and the waitress was pleasant. Maybe Galo was just having an off night, but it was definitely not a good meal.
