   First time visiting since the new menu came out. A lot of options I'm eager to try -- LOVED the fried mushrooms! BUT! I'm devastated (and that's not really an exaggeration) that there's no longer a cocktail menu! Luckily the bartender could still make me the Pear Martini, but that is my favorite thing about Gallop's, so I need that option to NEVER go away! Also, my kids were both bummed that they can no longer order a slice of pizza anymore. But we will still be back!

   Had reservations, were told 10 minute wait, suggested we sit at bar. No problem except for the host completely forgetting us. We finally complained after seeing two tables being seated while we waited for 30 minutes. After being seated we again waited 20 minutes before we were able to catch the attention of a server. Very unorganized. We had stopped there several times before without issue, but things have gone downhill. I should mention that while at the bar, the staff were attentive and friendly. We should have just ordered at the bar.

   We were able to see the OSU game - no problem. The food was delicious and the wait staff was courteous and attentive.

   I have visited this restaurant many times. Always had great service until this night. Server was inattentive and grilled cheese was just warm. So sorry for this experience. Since we live within walking distance

   We went for lunch. They don’t have coffee or any hot drinks. They didn’t have milk or any kid friendly drinks. The food was terrible even as bar food goes. I’m sure it is a fun place at night to have drinks and watch sports. But they have “kitchen” in their name, implying they want diners not just drinkers. It is simply not a good place for dining. Especially not family dining.

   Well I showed up for my reservation on Mother’s Day at noon. The place was closed. Not a person to be found. Since it was Mother’s Day, we had to scramble around to find alternative dining. I will not be eating there again. Has really gone downhill since it changed names/ownership.

    Slow service. They seemed understaffed. The Cuban sandwich was very good. However, I prefer a crispier pizza crust, but it had good flavor.
