Had a 8:30 reservation and was not seated until 8:55. Meat was a little undercooked and fries were cold. Server did not have her best day. Music and coziness of the restaurant was great. I probably won’t return.

Despite the fact that it was unusually busy because of Mother’s Day weekend, they did a great job the hospitality service and food was awesome!

Where do I start. The positive. Food is excellent. I ordered the Sea Bass, my companion a steak. The kitchen was slow, no complaints, we don’t want to be rushed. Now for the negatives. My friend wanted a Jack and Coke. Waitress said we don’t have Jack yet we do have a single barrel Jack. When the bill came it was more expensive than a meal. Two drinks came to $78. It was mind blowing. I find it hard to believe there isn’t a regular Jack but only the most expensive one. And…. It would have been nice if she explained the cost. Then I was ready to tip 25%. At the last minute I dissected the bill to see a surcharge of 18% for the tip on a party of 2. I have seen added costs since Covid yet not a gratuity added for a party of 2. If I had not looked she would have received almost a 45% tip. No where did I see on the menu tip is included. How many customers just bring out a card without looking at the bill. At the end of the day the ambiance and food is stellar. I would go again now knowing what to expect. An addendum to my post. I went to the restaurant with my complaint asking for a credit to my bill for the difference of a regular Jack and the Single Barrel. Not only did I receive a credit; the owner gave me a full refund for the 2 drinks. He was extremely gracious. I would highly recommend.... Gaia is my top 3 restaurants in the city!!!

My initial reservation was booked for 8 people but another couple ended up tagging along which made a party of 10. They didn’t try to accommodate in any way. They saved another table that was set for 10 people, and only 4 people had showed up. Food arrived at 8:39 PM and reservation was for 7 PM.

I do not recommend anyone wanting a nice cut of steak. This establishment tried to pass off a tomahawk ribeye as a bone-in ribeye, and the steak was tough for medium-rare. How is that possible? Our waitress, Summer, saw her 3x in our dining experience. Once to take the order, next is when she wanted to take our entree to offer dessert, and lastly to drop off the check. We saw her pass by our take like 20x joking around with staff members, but she never refilled our wine or water till it was time for the check. Then, on top they put a 18% gratuity on a table for 2 which was not disclosed. This is why service is not on top priority because they just take the order then never come back to check if you’re doing ok. This is a terrible place for the price that one pays for great food and service!! Will never recommend this establishment!!

GAIA is the perfect place for date night. The restaurant has a quiet, elegant and romantic atmosphere. The food is delicious, with wonderful presentation. The server, Jasmine, did an excellent job folding the beef carpaccio at the table.

The food was okay. Our steaks were overcooked. I didn’t speak up because I didn’t want to make a fuss. Wasn’t worth the price. The service was FANTASTIC
