Gabriel's Bar and Restaurant has been a NYC staple for over three decades. Gabriel's brings the quintessential flavors of Italy right to the heart of Manhattan. Established in 1991 by Gabriel Aiello, his restaurant is known for providing excellent service and great food throughout the years and being home of many famous personalities. With rare dedication towards his craft, Gabriel will still find time to greet you at the front of the house and make your experience memorable. Now at our new home at 40 Central Park South, we are proud to continue the same tradition, with the same sensibility and care.

No Show/Cancellation Policy: A fee of $25/person will be charged for no shows and cancellations made less than 6 hours before the reservation.

Amazing as always. We’ve been coming from Seattle for years and always visit Gabriel’s. The family, the staff and the food are top quality.

A beautifully warm and well considered restaurant, from the flower arrangements, colorful art, lighting fixtures and atmosphere. (No longer in Columbus circle as posted.) A pleasurable experience, excellent Chef. A special place to dine.

There’s Italian that taste like they got their recipes from a book and then there’s Italian that is made by those that it taste as if it’s their natural ability to cook it. Service was the best we’ve had in quite some time. Attention to detail in everything at this restaurant. Will definitely come back

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The food a bit overpriced for what was served. I asked for a regular Romaine salad with grilled shrimp - lettuce was chopped to where I needed a spoon to eat it with - which I’m not sure why anyone chops their lettuce these days and just grilled shrimp - could have put more lettuce on the plate - the bolognese looked beautiful - presentation was crisp and it tasted good. The kids were pleased with their spaghetti g although not sure they should charge $26 for a bowl of plain spaghetti. But then again it’s not their fault as they have to run a business. The best part was we had the whole lower level to ourselves for quite a while and my girls did feel like princesses :)
