   Outstanding experience at Fyr. My friend and I have birthdays 3 days apart and chose Fyr for our celebratory dinner this year. It was the first time any in our group of 4 had visited. They definitely went above and beyond to make our dinner an exceptional experience. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. We ordered the chicken, octopus, roasted tomato, ceviche, branzino, cauliflower, eggplant, and dessert. Everything was seasoned/spiced well and sauces were very flavorful. Cocktails were well executed. Looking forward to future visits as the menu changes.

   I am not a fan of restaurant week as the menu at most establishments aren’t too exciting. Saw Fyr restaurant week menu and the iron steak caught my eye. For $50, it was well worth it. The food was really seasoned well. The chef was very nice to come out and head to every table to ask about our experience. My friends and I were so full, we barely could eat our dessert, but the chocolate mousse was too good to pass up. We have been to Fyr when they first opened and haven’t had the chance to head that way again, but have to go back and try their branzino that I saw on the regular menu.

   Enjoyed a lovely dinner during restaurant week! Our server was incredibly attentive. The chef came out and greeted us and chatted about the current and upcoming menus. It was a quiet night due to the cold weather and football game, which made it perfect.

   Not one bad dish! Best filet mignon I’ve had in years. Salmon, lamb, and chicken entrees all fantastic. Service was great. Katheryn was awesome, very personable and friendly and attentive. One of the best overall dining experiences I’ve had in a long, long time. Will absolutely be back!

   we order the tomahawk streak and the lamb shank. both were decent and we enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. btw we had a toddler with us and they were very accommodating

   Was looking forward to mussels. They had None. Started our evening off on wrong foot. Ordered drinks, salads and appetizers. All were just okay. Server seemed in a hurry to get rid of us, even though restaurant was almost bare. Martini was good but NO stuffed olives.

    My fiancé and I tried Fyr in Columbus for the first time this past weekend. We did not have any expectations as we had not heard of the place through word of mouth or by searching for particular cuisine. We wanted a high-end location that was close to (preferable inside) of the hotel we were staying and this place suited that need. We started the dinner with Enipada's, a dragonfly cocktail for her, and an old fashioned for me. The Enipada's came out quickly and were flaky, tasted amazing. The drinks were well served. Our server, Avion, did well explaining the menu to us in terms of her favorites but the collaboration of menu items didn't make much sense to us in the end. Normally at a place like this I would want to feel encouraged to explore, we did not feel encouraged to explore. I had the lamb shank, and my fiancé had the filet mignon. We also had asparagus, and crispy potatoes as sides. The lamb shank was well presented and perfectly cooked. I very much enjoyed it. The filet mignon left me wanting, my fiancé also did not enjoy it very much. It lacked any real development in the flavor and seemed to devalue the cut. The side dishes were both served well and complimented the other dishes, however again, the potatoes were underdeveloped in flavor. The asparagus has a good dressing, and the cheese help set it them apart. We finished with a Brulé crepes. I found them fun and the tableside preparation, paired with origin story helped me enjoy them but my fiancé felt it was too felt they just were too "soft omelet" and not really crepe. Maybe not enough chocolate or crisp from the powdered sugar, but overall desert was muted for her. Fyr doesn't really have an atmosphere to set it apart from other dining experiences although it was clean and nice, I can say that about a lot of places. The menu seems exciting but does feel cohesive and thus mostly goes unexplored. Since we live in the Columbus area, and for its cost probably won't try again.
