   Absolutely delightful evening at Frank’s Canteen and so happy finally made it! The food was unbelievable - rich, delicious, incredible flavours, really decent portion sizes and fairly priced. It was so hard to choose between all the dishes! Honestly cannot express how delicious it was. Lovely staff, warm welcome, no corkage also sweetened the deal. Really lovely can’t wait to go back hopefully for Christmas menu!

   Love this place , often visit for brunch, tonight enjoyed dining for three The menu is small , which means it’s cooked to perfection and packs a punch The short rib is rich and flavourful. The colcanon and blue cheese is delicious. The star of the show is the sea bream Why this place hasn’t got a bib gourmand I don’t know This restaurant leaves you feeling fulfilled in every sense of the word The waitress takes time to to give her opinion and advice and does it in such a pleasant manner you can not help to talk to her. She seamlessly dealt with all tables , taking everything in her stride in such a laid back manner What a local gem

   The food was amazing, the chef is excellent and I am sure she is going to do wonders in a very near future. It was truly delicious and original, and the portions were generous and perfectly proportionate. The service is also very sweet and caring. I hope to come back soon!

   To be honest food was not as good as it has been in the past. Chicken schnitzel was greasy as were the chips. Slightly disappointing . Otherwise service was very good

   We had a lovely meal at Franks. We went on a Wednesday and were able to take advantage of the BYOB offer with no corkage. It made for an amazing value meal.

   We grabbed a last minute meal at Frank’s on Friday night. Wonderful service from Kat who looked after us all night, and despite the full house was cheerful throughout. Our food was wonderful and plentiful, so thankful this is a local restaurant. Will be back.
