A highlight of the evening will be the unique opportunity for students to work closely with seasoned mentors, each allocated to guide a course of the multi-course tasting menu. This collaboration will enhance the learning experience, allowing the young chefs to gain invaluable insights and advice from their mentors as they prepare exquisite dishes. Adding to the excitement, the event will feature guest chef Dan Merriman, the latest winner of MasterChef 2024. With his expertise and flair, Chef Merriman will join the students in crafting a memorable culinary experience that reflects the passion and talent of the next generation. Guests can look forward to being immersed in a vibrant atmosphere filled with the aromas of fresh ingredients and the sounds of laughter and camaraderie.     Hi Theo. Local ingredients of the best quality, with every single element of the dish made on site by our highly skilled team of chefs. Some will appreciate the value, others not. But we're really proud of what comes out of our kitchen and yes, the way we operate means we have to charge a little more.

    Can hear other peoples conversations. Food massively over priced. I had the pork belly and it was tough. It should be soft and fall apart. Mash potato has way too much garlic. I had recently had a pork belly dish at the Brampton halt and it was far nicer, and cheaper. Wouldn’t return.

    Hi Samuel, I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience. We wish you would have let us know on the night and we'd have made you something else. I spoke with your server, who confirmed our usual check backs did happen. On the note on hearing the conversations of others, most venues are the same, be it a high street chain or with a Michelin star. Restaurants are public spaces and I find it generally less intrusive if you immerse yourself in your own conversation.

    This restaurant just gets better & better in so many ways. The food is always cooked to perfection, & such generous portions too. Despite a very busy Friday evening full of covers, the service was absolutely flawless, so full credit to everyone that was on front of house. We will be back for more of everything again.

    Four of us dined last night and had a really lovely evening! Food was delicious, we all had mains and desserts and couldn’t fault a thing. Service and ambience spot on too. Will definitely be back. Special mention for the tandoori monkfish tail with pickled mussels - what a dish!!

    Excellent food with plenty of choice for vegetarians too. Generous portions to satisfy the hungry eaters in our party. Waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning

    A very pleasant evening and I will return in about 4/5 weeks for the “a la carte menu and again when the taster menu changes or before as the taster menu was excellent. g&d
