Whoever knows Founding Farmers on Penn Ave expects very good food and service - and the restaurant in Georgetown did not disappoint! The cauliflower hummus and the seared tuna were excellent, and service timely. Dessert was on the house! Great location next to the Harbor Rink. For dinner we recommend a light music in the background, particularly during the holidays season. An overall very good and relaxing experience.

It was not my first time there, so i know when we sit down they should offer us tap water, but this time they didn’t until we ask for it, other than that food and service was good

Lunch with family. We got in right in time and seated quickly. Took awhile for wait staff and had to go ask about someone coming after almost 15 minutes. We were not in a rush but very hungry! Very nice and helpful with recommendations. Food was good and came out quickly. A little expensive for the average lunch but on vacation and didn’t mind.

This restaurant is not worth the exorbitant prices they charge. They serve the smallest martini we've ever seen. The glass was ⅓ the size of a regular martini glass. We ordered clam chowder and the soup of the day - minestrone. Portions were adequate, but flavor was lacking. They might as well have opened a can for the minestrone. We found one clam in the clam chowder. Unacceptable. We also ordered the wine and garlic mussels pot. Every other mussel tasted fishy. It's the first time ever we haven't finished an order of mussels and we've had countless orders of mussels over the years. The mussel broth looked like dirty water and had little flavor. Although our waiter was polite, he never returned to check on our food. We had to flag him down for a salt shaker. By the time he returned we were finished and he was clearing the table. We were still charged for the mussels. We will not be visiting any of the Founding Farmers locations in the future.

Food was skimpy. Wrong item. Tasted bad. Cold. Late. Music too loud. All round terrible experience and a rip off. Just like we experienced at Pennsylvania Ave location last month. We will not be going to your restaurants again

Service was slow and not attentive. Food was overcooked, not very hot when it arrived at the table and very oily for baked chicken.

The most wonderful time. We were in town for the Army-Navy game and surprised our cadet there by having his girl friend with us. He ran late from airport and our Server, Marie, was so kind supportive & patient. The food & hand crafted bevs were all delicious, too! Highly recommend Founding Farmers Fishers & Bakers!!

Service was slow. Huge restaurant so server takes your order and someone else delivers. Took forever to get a glass of wine for one in our party. Arrived 15 min after everyone else’s drinks arrived. Then a server brought desserts before our food even arrived Solid food- big portions- nothing special but the biscuits were out of this world
