   Fabulous food terrific service nice pleasant live music. Very pricey. Cost was $ 500 with no alcohol. Didn’t know there was going to be a pre fixe dinner.

   Very disappointing as value was poor. The restaurant is dark black with fake plants hanging from the overhead beams & sharp piercing lighting. The bar is small with only a few stools. Prices are way too high for the small kitchen to cope with unusual & complex sauces. Menu Choice is very limited at all levels. Overall, the restaurant appears to be an afterthought, with plastic sheeting trying to keep diners warm, opening to a well lite outdoor pool. Several diners only ordered soup & left, as high entrée & starter prices scared them away. Service was great by a qualified waiter. The restaurant does not come close to competing with most other high-end restaurants in Sedona. All other diners at our table only rated this overpriced restaurant at 3-3.5 on a 5 point scale.

   We came for a Valentine's Day dinner while on vacation. We arrived a bit early and ordered a specialty cocktail from the bar. They were really tasty but priced at a point you'd likely only try one. I ordered the Land prix fixe and Bobby ordered the Sea. We did the wine pairings for both. Food was great; rich with butter and creams, excellent sauces, proteins prepared perfectly. The dishes were creative, and sometimes I wondered if it was more of an Asian influence than a southwestern one. Very cozy seating, not really set up for large groups indoors. The Chef seems very involved, bringing some dishes or finishes to the table himself, which adds such an intimate touch. Thoroughly enjoyable!

   The service was great from the parking lot to the table. The menu was limited for vegetarians and the taste was decent, but a bit pricey for the quality overall. The setting and aesthetic was nice. I’d visit again, but most likely for drinks or to stay at the hotel.

   Not gonna lie - it’s pricey…. As in $78 an entree, but the food, service, and vibe were impeccable.

   We sat right next to the lady playing acoustic guitar and had zero problem with the music interfering with our conversations and her song choices were delightful. I love a classic old fashioned and I saw they had some crazy chocolate/banana version and our server convinced me to give it a try - if I didn't like it, he would swap it out for a standard version. It was really good! Subtle hints of both flavors that somehow paired well. Glad I gave it a go. We split the potato soup (sounds odd, but you've got to try it) and we had the lobster and scallops as entrees. The food was amazing and I highly recommend this intimate, casual restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional experience -just like everything else about our stay at the Ambiente resort.

   Food, service, and ambiance were excellent. Wine list was overpriced, more than 200% above retail.
