   What a warm and comfortable space. It was literally alive! The cocktails are magnificent! Selection was top shelf. Menu was perfect for the atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back with more friends. Not surprising when you consider this was a Chris and Bob collab! Cheers!

   We went to Folia as a group of girls celebrating a birthday and it was a great place to celebrate. The drinks were amazing, the service was great and the place itself felt like a retreat away from Charlotte. My only qualm about our experience, when we first sat down, at a table by the DJ booth mostly away from everyone, we took 2 pictures wuth flash with a disposable camera. Manager (assuming she was the manager) came over and explained that they don’t allow flash photography due to not knowing other peoples medical conditions and the flash bouncing. Which totally fine, we wouldn’t have taken a picture with flash if we had known or if there were signs anywhere indicating that we couldn’t. Unfortunately, as the night went on we watched as several other tables took photos with flash and the same manager was around watching these tables and nothing was said to them. Overall, it didn’t effect our night or turn anything sour on our experience there, it just struck us all as a bit odd. But 10/10 would recommend coming here to a friend and look forward to coming back.

   The ambience, food was great. The servers were never making suggestions or helping other than just asking what we want to order without any good interaction with us. The cocktails are made in very small glass and the prices are much higher than it’s deserved. Not sure if I would go back..

   Paid $75 per person ($225 for 3 ppl) for the NYE pre-paid experience which was listed as a glass of bubbles, 4 small plates, and a champagne cheers at midnight. We were given raw carrots & peppers with ranch as one of the plates… they made it look nice, of course, but it was literally raw carrots on ranch. Other apps were good though. Never got a glass of prosecco, only the champagne at 12, and was told by the waitress that the “glass of bubbles” and champagne toast were one in the same when they were listed as separate things. Bill came out with $22 in tax and $54 in added gratuity. I get it was NYE but a $300 bill for one glass of champagne and 4 shareables (one being raw carrots w/ ranch) is a bittttt odd , even for charlotte. I will say, our waitress was nice and gave us our cocktails for free after I showed her that the bubbles (never given) and champagne toast were supposed to be different things. All that aside, drinks were great & the female bartender was SOO kind. Plus, a super cute ambiance. Would’ve been a way better experience on a normal night!!

   Cute place. Very mid century modern south Florida vibes going. Great soundtrack during ‘Bougie Brunch’. Service was welcoming, attentive and pleasant. Not at all pretentious which is a good thing! The cocktails were very tasty and well made, creative options for lots of different palates. We shared several small plates that were okay. The sausage flatbread was definitely the favorite but overall the menu was mehhh and left much to be desired considering Folia is calling it ‘bougie brunch’. I expected the food to be a little More elevated, considering the price points but instead, very basic bites with ambitious names and descriptions(bread and butter or cheese, egg salad, waffle). Again, the cocktails were good but didn’t justify the prices. Come for the ambience and a tasty cocktail and know that is what you are paying handsomely for.
