   It was my first visit at their newest/second location in DC. The prices are a little cheaper than the Pennsylvania Ave. location. The venue is beautiful and our server, Ericka, was wonderful. I’d definitely recommend them. Great salad bar and great for meat lovers. The molten chocolate cake was great!

   I had high expectations for my visit to Fogo de Chão on March 1, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short. While the food itself was decent, the overall service and dining conditions left much to be desired. First, the wait times were excessive. Despite having a reservation, it took far too long for our drinks to arrive, and the rotation of meats was inconsistent—sometimes we would wait long stretches without being offered anything. It really disrupted the flow of the meal and made the dining experience frustrating rather than enjoyable. Second, we were seated in an extremely inconvenient location—right by a door with heavy foot traffic. Not only did this make for a disruptive dining experience with constant movement around our table, but every time the door opened, a blast of cold air rushed in. It made it difficult to enjoy our meal in comfort, and frankly, it’s unacceptable to place guests in such an uncomfortable spot without any effort to mitigate the issue. What made matters worse was the complete lack of response from management. We addressed our concerns with two different managers, including the customer service manager, and not a single effort was made to rectify the situation. No offer to move us, no sincere apology—just indifference. At a restaurant of this caliber, I would expect far better customer service and a willingness to address guest concerns. Overall, while the food had potential, the service and lack of attentiveness from management soured the entire experience. Given the price point and reputation of Fogo de Chão, I expected far more. I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon.

   Date night anniversary dinner and this place did not disappoint. Service was 5 star and the food fresh, flavorful, and tasty.

   The quality of food was subpar, everything was bland. We ordered beverages for our table and it took 45 min! Our waiter disappeared for large amounts of time. Overall ,not great.

    This is a newer location for this restaurant brand and it was clear they still have some kinks to work out. We arrived at 4:29 pm for our 4:30pm reservation and the hostesses were overwhelmed. It took about 10 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. When we were seated the hostess only had 1 menu for two people and promised to return with a second. However she never returned. There was some sort of commercial equipment (possibly a heater) running near the bar that was very loud. The dining room music was so loud (on top of the equipment noise) we couldn’t hear our server. Wait staff didn’t seem to have great timing when it came to checking in on our table. Long waits for cocktail re-orders. All staff were friendly and courteous. Food quality was good. Some of the higher quality cuts of meat only made their way to our table once (and then the filet mignon was flavorful but tough). The restaurant is in a great location at the wharf but I think I’ll return to their Pennsylvania Ave location next time as service was better there.
