   We had dinner reservations on a Wednesday night for my mom’s birthday. We were a party of 5 (4 adults and 1 toddler). We were seated in an awkward place, but then again the entire restaurant had an awkward layout. It just felt like one big room with tables everywhere. There wasn’t really an organization of the tables, and everything was very crammed. We got seated at a round table near the buffet. Waiters and customers were constantly bumping into the back of our chairs due to lack of walking room between tables. We all purchased the Churrasco experience. The meats were good, but I felt that our table was rarely approached compared to other tables. Again, I blame the layout of the restaurant. Our waiter was very nice but only stopped by at the beginning and at the end of the meal, we had to flag down other staff to get refills and extra mashed potatoes. I ordered a glass of wine and waited about 30 minutes to finally get it. I was told the reason for the long wait was because the bar was backed up. I feel like the buffet selections were not very great. Everything was ice cold. I don’t expect to eat cold asparagus or mushrooms when eating at a steakhouse but that is what they had. Overall, I do not see myself coming back to this establishment. While the meat itself was good, I feel like everything else dimmed my experience.

   I recommend going to this place when it is not dinner or lunch rush time because service will be terrible. The food is always great and the gauchos are on top of it but servers are not attentive and come back to your table multiple times telling you that someone will bring whatever you asked them for previously instead of doing it themselves. Thank you to the manager Jacob that was on duty for picking up the servers slack!

   Poor experience, meats did not come around very often, kept having to ask waiters for assistance with meats, even though place cards were flipped on the green side, salad bar 3 out of 5.

   Incredibly slow service. Not a wide range of cuts made available (chicken with bacon, sirloin, garlic picanha, regular pincanha, and lamb.

   We arrived around 5:30 pm and were seated rapidly and the service was exceptional i thought they came around very frequently and of course it was delicious. The salad bar was plentiful with many varieties of vegetables, along with hot soup, steamed rice and beans. I wish the table sides were at least warm, but other than that is everything was beautifully prepared.

   Me and my husband had amazing evening in this restaurant. I was impressed by how they took my request when booking into consideration and did exactly as I asked. Food, atmosphere and service are excellent! Highly recommend Fogo de Chão in Brea for special dates, you’ll have only positive emotions!

    Service was very slow. I have been to several other Brazilian churrascarias and Fogo has always had the worst service, in Brea, Irvine or Beverly Hills, it doesn’t matter which city. Servers would pass us by or we would have to wait so long that we would just fill up with salad to keep us satisfied. Decided to come on a whim to take my family out for dinner but would not go back again. There are several other churrascarias that provide better service and food a short distance away in either Irvine or DTLA.
