   My experience at Fogo de Chao is always the best and amazing. The food and wine pairing is always EPIC. The service was amazing. Genevieve and the staff their is always the BEST in the world.

   Went for one of their events. The food was good and service was phenomenal. Worth every penny! Will be going again and again.

   Overall, the experience was pretty good, nice atmosphere, food and service. Something to note is that we were celebrating a birthday and they had a nice touch with the dessert, which was great. The only thing to improve is that I ordered only one cut and the waitress forgot to give me the button with the name of it, so I waited a long time while my partner was already eating. Also, I recommend updating the website menu because the prices of some dishes are higher currently.

   Felt like the Cheesecake Factory of steak houses. We were WAY over dressed, all you can eat meat was nowhere as good as what you would expect for the same money for a nice cut at a real steakhouse. Felt cheap, low class, and service was overwhelming / distracting with how so many people constantly approached you with the meat, often ignoring the red / green indicators on the table. Service felt amateur. The experience was irredeemable and simply not the type of restaurant we would want to visit. Not because it didn’t feel like fine dining enough (we love casual restaurants too) but because it felt so cheap and classless for the money. Like an all you can eat buffet or Cracker Barrel for steak. Skip and enjoy one of the countless good steak houses in DC and avoid spending hundreds to sit next to people dressed in their sweat pants. It was just so low class. And I’m not a classist - I just hate places that try to put off a white tablecloth fine dining feel and then the guests are dressed so poorly that you’d expect they are at a sleazy club in the slums not even good enough for TGI Fridays or Applebees. Felt embarrassed to be dressed with a sports coat and slacks with tie. And as mentioned, food was plentiful but mediocre and they obviously have a timer after which they try to wind you down and get you out of there. If you do go at least pace yourself so your food doesn’t get cold and eat one meat at a time, else it will get cold on your plate like mine did. People say the salad bar and sides are great. Disagree - asparagus was cold at the salad bar and only side were very mediocre mashed potatoes, some sort of cheese I disliked, and bread I disliked. Foodies please avoid! I gave 3 stars being extremely generous.

    It was wonderful! I have just moved to DC and my parents took me here for dinner. It was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend. Don’t forget to get a caipirinha!
