   Excellent food and impeccable service. It was just getting busy when we arrived but the busier it got the faster the food came. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny.

   We have recently eaten at both Fogo De Chao and Fogao Gaucho, and we found Fogao Gaucho to be far superior. The salad bar and hot dishes were more interesting and extensive at Gaucho. In addition, the meats were juicier, tenderer, and tastier at Gaucho. In fact, the servers at Gaucho actually solicited our meat requests and got us the coveted ribeye, lamb chops, and filet mignon speedily and in abundance. In contrast, at Fogo de Chao it was much more difficult to obtain the choicer cuts. Furthermore,Chao was nosier and more crowded, making it feel like a competition to get food there. The tables were quite close together. In contrast, Gaucho felt more like a fine dining experience. All in all, I'd give Gaucho 5 stars and Chao 2 - 3 stars.

   The restaurant is normally great. Last night we made a reservation for 2 at 8:30pm. I called ahead of time to make sure we'd have enough time to eat. When we arrived at the restaurant the market table was almost empty with no refills on food. The meat was mostly burnt. If I return it will be at an earlier time.

    The food was bland. The meats were not coming around very often and there wasn't much variety. They didn't have fountain soda, which also meant no free refills. The restaurant was not set up very well to have room to move around the other tables to go to your table, the salad bar, restroom, etc. The parking lot was also not very conveniently made. This was my first time, and last time, there. It was not worth the $77 it cost for just me, and that was with a soda and not any alcohol....
