   Let me start with we have been here once before and enjoyed our prior experience. On our most recent visit it was awful and do not plan to ever return. We were seated at a small two person table. The waiter was slow and we hardly saw him. We had to flag others down to go locate him. Our dishes weren’t picked up when we were done (after appetizers, etc.). To the point in which we basically had them hanging off our small table because we were out of room. Keep in mind we could look past the above as it was a Saturday night. Then comes the part we were really disappointed. My wife ordered a filet cooked medium (pink center). When she cut into her steak, it was raw and I mean raw (purple and cold). We had to ask the hostess who was hanging out to go track our waiter down after a few moments hoping he would check on us but that was wishful thinking. The waiter apologized but requested my wife keep her baked potato and use the ketchup plate to scrap it into before taking the steak back to the kitchen. A few minutes later the manager returned and placed a plate in front of my wife and said here you go it’s fixed. IT WAS THE SAME EXACT STEAK they originally served her (she had butterflied it to show them how raw it was in the middle and had cut a piece off the end, and the bacon still hanging on all mangled at this point). We were shocked to say the least, the manager left. So my wife who was hungry cut into it and yet nothing had changed with level of rawness from prior. We asked for our waiter to please get the manager, we just wanted our check so we could leave. The manager then comes over with a new steak in a to-go box (we didn’t ask for that). We thanked him but declined it. Trust was already lost at this point. It is very unfortunate on how this was handled and then on top of that the poor level of service overall. We don’t intend on ever return which is unfortunate.

   Great food! Horrible atmosphere for a restaurant taking reservations and having a dress code. Very disappointed, we will not return

   Our waiter was great. But the food took a very long time to come out. Reservations were at 6:30 and we didn’t eat until 8. We didn’t order any appetizers either. Waited an hour or more for our food. Simple dinner steak and baked potato for a party of two. And it was extremely salty!!

   Our waiter was amazing and very respectful. Best service yet, new to the area. Food was delicious. The cocktail menu was lacking, but overall great and positive experience.

   We enjoyed a great meal with a tremendous server. Over the course of the evening, we learned Ikea had two jobs and was working her way through school. She was an impressive young lady and provided excellent service. The manager is always visible and a true professional. Firebirds is a good restaurant, but the people keep us coming back.

   Seated promptly. Appetizer of deviled eggs was perfectly seasoned. Our meals were delicious (2 chicken dishes, 1 shrimp & salmon, 1 garlic & thyme sirloin). Sides came out exactly as requested. Crème brûlée cheesecake was delicious. Problem arose when the bill was presented and we found we were “up-charged” for our drinks. Waiter did not ask - he just charged us for top tier alcohol. So drinks which were listed for $10 suddenly cost $17. Waiter did not ask us for a specific brand of alcohol, but automatically charged us for the much higher priced alcohol.

    Firebirds Wood Grill has become my go-to location to take friends to lunch and dinner. The menu is excellent with some wonderful surprises such as the Philli-Cheesesteak Eggroll and the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake. The aged ribeye has become one of my favorites, topped with Lobster Fondue, you can’t go wrong. Kameron, who has been my server on every visit and I request him each and every time…Kameron is that good!
