   It was a pleasant place for a happy hour. Our food and drinks were very good. Friends with us loved their pineapple martini. I found a draft of my favorite beer. The shaved prime rib sliders were absolutely delicious, and just right for our light late afternoon appetites. Our friends enjoyed the sliders, shrimp and cauliflower. The server was excellent, visiting our table in a timely, unobtrusive, but thoughtful manner. She was polite, helpful, efficient and pleasant. As the room filled, the noise level rose, making conversation more problematic, but we had come early enough that it didn’t impact our dining. Good food with good friends.    We order 2 slabs of baby back ribs and a quarter of the ribs were burnt. The expeditor should have caught this before it came to our table. We brought these 2 ends home, in case you wanted to see these "fine" specimens.

   Our meal was delicious and well prepared. We had blue cheese filet with mushrooms, and filet mignon with garlic thyme butter. Service was perfect!

   Nice menu and friendly staff. Only negative we have is the slow bar service when in the dining room area. Last night we waited almost 10 minutes for the first round and well over 5 for the second. And it was just a glass of wine.

   The restaurant was nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. It did not appear to be overly crowded. The wait staff seemed somewhat confused and rushed. At times I felt as if we were "forgotten", but it wasn't all that bad as it allowed us to visit. Communication among staff seemed out of sync. Right as we were told by a manager they were sorry for the delay, and we should have our meals in about 5-10 minutes, the food arrived. The only "oh crap moment" was when I had to send my steak two different times. Apparently, the staff does not understand nor know how to cook "medium well/well". The steak first arrived with a nice charred outter crust, but still red inside. I discussed this with the GM, and sent it back, which what I thought he understood as what I expected "medium well/well" to be. He brought back more charred, and only marginally less red. Finally, I said make it "well done". It was brought back with no red, now dry, but cooked. Luckily it wasn't too dry or tough. It is unfortunate that the cook staff seems to think the higher and hotter the flame the better meat cooks. They don't seem to know nor understand how to cook meat evenly. Yes it takes time, but it's not a race. For the record my meal was comp'd as a result. Unfortunately, I will reconsider returning in the future, because while the night did start off well, needing to send my meal back multiple times was awkward and put a damper on the evening. I just glad it wasn't a special occassion.

    Drinks and appetizer were good, main course meals were great, desert was outstanding! Atmosphere is nice, a little loud but that was the crowd on a Friday night. Recommend this place for a great dinner.
