   I’ve eaten here twice in the last six month and each time the food was excellent. The server was very good and paid just enough attention to us to make it an enjoyable lunch

   Had wonderful meal on Veteran's Day which included 6 and 9 oz filets, spinach salad and desert. The only negative was the 45 minute wait after my reservation time. Not sure if the problem was overbooking or booking too many large tables which tied up the dining room.

   We chose Firebirds Restaurant for our Veterans Day Dinner. We have done this dinner with our friends also a Veteran for the last 4 years. The front desk was handled very well considering there were a lot of people and the reservations were running 30-45 minutes late. Dealing with the public is never easy and the girls did a great job. Our server was Patrick - did a good job - attentive - professional - good attitude considering the restaurant was full. Our meals were good considering the kitchen was doing their best to keep with demands. I wonder did the restaurant over book? We will return for another dinner. Mary Wells

   Thank you for honoring veterans and their families. All of your associates deserve recognition for their professionalism, hospitality and mostly their patience. Each customer I observed arriving to confirm their reservation received outstanding customer service. Our meals were delicious. My husband and I served a total of 41 years. Thank you

   Sir or Madam, Three people in our party on Veteran's Day were Veterans. However, only two of the meals these Veterans had were credited, as advertised. My husband's meal was not free as advertised. The other two Veteran's meals were credited. My husband had a Grilled Tenderloin Salad and was charged for his meal. Unfortunately, when he signed the check he did not notice this error. Can we get a credit for his meal...either on the credit card we used to pay for our party, or as a Firebird's credit of some kind? Thanks so much. Margaret and Curt Dierdorff

   Terribly backed on having a reservation! Totally spoiled the evening! Something wrong with reservation system! One hour 15 minutes after reservation time we were seated! Three of entrees our group ordered were sold out! One entree was served way before other three! Salads came late! Wonderful Vet Day gesture needs to be better managed or spread out over two or three days!

   I've been to Firebirds many times and have always had wonderful experiences. I made a 3:45pm reservation for an early dinner on Veterans day with my husband. The restaurant was understandably very busy, they were so kindly giving Veterans free meals. We got seated at 4:20pm. The waiter was very pleasant. We ordered a bottle of non-alcoholic wine that was very delightful and put in our dinner order right away. As time went on we watched multiple tables get seated after us, then watched as their food arrived, they ate their dinners, paid and left. We patiently waited for ours. As time went on a server brought food to our table, one of the plates was the dish I had ordered. The other was not my husbands plate. The server said she was confused because the table numbers had recently changed. At that point we told her we were also confused because many tables have come and gone and we had been there for over an hour waiting for our dinner. Our plates were brought out to use at about 5:40pm and my husband did not get what he had ordered. Our waiter went back to the kitchen to replace the dish then brought it back out and said he will just bring and extra dish of what was missing (my husband had ordered mashed potatoes instead of grains but the fish came on a bed of grains, fortunately he has no allergies and isn't a picky eater so there was no issue and the side of potatoes were brought out separately). The manager came over, a very lovely pregnant woman, I did not get her name. She was incredibly genuine and I'd have to say one of the best in the industry. She assured us she'd talk to the waiter and the kitchen to find out what had happened along the way. Our waiter did say their system had changed recently. We don't know if the order was put in incorrectly or if the kitchen did not read it correctly, and we don't know if our order was put in late or the kitchen missed it. The manager did comp our bill, which was very kind of her, and we will certainly eat here again.

    Super friendly staff, nice ambiance, always great food. Super appreciative that these hard working folks take care of the veterans on Veterans Day. Lovely experience!
