   I asked if I would be allowed a well done steak as I know it upsets chefs, the delightful waiting staff implored that i could have my steak however I liked. The steak came out more overdone than. I have had a steak anywhere. Honestly feel this was a chef revenge steak. The steak was £28. Had very few chips with it. There was no weight listed to the menu but my guess it was only 8oz. I was expecting a large steak for this price. Drinks of one pint plus one coffee was over £9 also. Very expensive.

   Absolutely AWFUL. Service was terrible the moment we walked through the door. The manager is rude, disrespectful and shouldn’t be working in hospitality. The food was shocking for the price, unseasoned, tasted like garbage!! AVOID!!!!!

   Good main courses but disappointed that the desserts on the menu weren’t available - very limited choice offered instead. Excellent service. Very noisy venue.

   Fabulous ambience here, comfortable seating and excellent service. Tasty food and great variety on the menu. The "burger specials" evening was very good value too.

   Food was beautiful, lady who was front of house was first class, the two other girls were very helpful and efficient, the food was not overpriced, portion size was good, would definitely recommend to others, we will definitely return, 40 minute drive from where we live and was well with it, looking forward to the next time we book

   The waitresses were trying their best and were lovely! But the food was soooo bad, the steak was like shoe leather, the Ribs were inedible as it was impossible to discern where the bone ended and the meat started it definitely did not fall off the bone a hungry vulture would have struggled, and the pork burnt ends were just greasy fatty lumps of gristle! The halloumi was ok and the salad was nice, but the meat was definitely the low point! The burger brought back memories of the frozen birdseye burgers ofthe 80’s! One of my teenagers were sick before we even left the carpark! Definitely not going back!

    I was attracted by the Facebook post advertising the Thursday Burger special for £15. I was very disappointed with the quality of the burger, chips were fine, albeit a small portion. It took 35 minutes to be served an overcooked and tasteless burger. It bore no comparison to the post on Facebook. I've had better burgers from McDs for £1.39. The staff were friendly and polite and the pint of cider was excellent. That's the 3rd time I've been to the Fire & Fork and left disappointed.
