   Made my return to this restaurant for the third time to finally experience the happy hour menu. I tried the sliders, the wings and the hush puppies. Everything was delicious!!! To top it off I had two of their signature drinks called the Filé sour . My favorite drink right now is their seasonal cocktail their Winter sangria which is really like Christmas in a glass, however, it is not on a happy hour menu. Our server, Liam was friendly, professional, and kind and if you’re ever there celebrating a birthday, please request Patty, who has the voice of Jennifer Hudson meets Tina Turner to sing for the guest of honor!! if you have an experience this restaurant at least once I encourage you to do so signed a faithful customer!

   My wife told me that she passes this place every day on the way home. We decided that we would check in out for our selves. We are definitely impressed. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very intimate. The perfect setting for a night out with my lady. Celebrating both birthday and 20 years since the day we first met. ❤️ I really enjoyed myself

   The food and customer service were excellent! The shrimp etouffee and the Mac and cheese were delicious!! Oh! And the lemonade? The lemonade….OMG…a must have. I am very critical of lemonades as they are usually too tart of too watery. This one tasted like sitting on grandmas porch in the south. It is also tailored to your level of sweetness. I also consider myself a Mac and cheese snob. So, please try it!! For dessert, I had to have Beignets. The restaurant is small. So, I wouldn’t recommend it for a large group and they also seem to have your table already assigned when you make the reservation. So, ask them not to seat you by the door when making your reservation during late Fall and Winter. The cold air hits you good when the door opens. But whatever you do, please go!

   Our server was good but I felt rushed. Host sat us directly by the door although tables were open further back. We were given 'permission' to be reseated upon our request.

   We celebrated my birthday at the Jazz brunch. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was great. We enjoyed the bottomless brunch. Recommend the Hurricanes.
