   The evening we arrived at the hotel, we had appetizers. Due to having a late lunch, we just wanted something light. I ordered the octopus and my husband ordered the humus. Both were underwhelming. The humus was horrible. The next night I had already made reservations, so we thought we would try the food again. Very disappointed. My husband’s burger was good but I had gnocchi, salad and bread. I was not impressed with any of it. I would not go back.

   As always I had a great meal. I do think it’s sad that since I have been a client for many dinners and several within a couple weeks of each other, I was not greeted as a returning patron. John is always there . Owners should indicate that return customers be greeted by name and with thanks for return visits.

   It was Monday and they were not busy. We arrived and the restaurant was empty. Four men came in and they seated them at a table next to us. No other patrons came in. They should have seated them at a different table. We heard their conversations. Very annoying.

   As always the menu is amazing . Duck my favorite . Bronzino unsurpassed. Short ribs tender. The only problem was the tuna tartar appetizer; tuna should be abundant and dominant ingredient; and no so spicy !my mouth was on fire and I couldn’t eat it. Rethink recipe ( hint : it’s Japanese not Indian )

    It felt too loud in the restaurant last weekend. It was hard to hear or convo at the table at times. The food was awesome, and our waitress Betty was great.
