   The lump crab cake was outstanding and sea bass was very good. Our waiter (Brice?) was superb. My husband was a bit disappointed with his ahi tuna. And our whiskey of choice ran out after one drink eat. But it was a nice experience.

   Our grandson decided he wanted Federal American Grill for his 24th birthday dinner. It was fabulous!!!! The wings and meatballs as appetizers were spot on! There were 7 of us, so we had blackened chicken alfredo, cobb salad, wedge salad, sliders, truffle chicken, and chicken fried steak. Everything single entrée was perfect!!! To end the night, they brought our grandson bread pudding with a sparkler on top, and to top it off, they gave him a birthday card with each employee signing it. So special!!!What a night!!!!

   Always a good time at Federal American Grill. Zachary was our bartender/server and did an outstanding job. Our drinks were on par as usual and our appetizers was delicious, cheese burger egg rolls and the awesome smoked pork belly. Our entrees were also delicious, chicken fried steak/wedge salad, and rib sliders and fries. You can never go wrong with the old fashions, both Markers Mark and smoking Woodford. We also had a few Sazarac’s and the girls had their outstanding Moscow Mules. Can’t wait till the next time.

   Excellent experience. The watier was a little too exuberant for my liking, as his greeting was so loud, I jumped in my chair. However, the meal, ambiance, and service were very good. The place is beautiful. The lady at the door never stopped working, whether she was greeting, cleaning, straightening up... The overall level of noise was very low. We don't live on that side of town, but had a late afternoon meeting. We will keep this place in mind for future visits.

   Would I go back? Yes, but my experience yesterday did not meet my overall expectations. We were a party of five, and the results were mixed. We all agreed that the meatloaf was subpar, as were the mashed potatoes that accompanied it. The meatloaf's consistency was comparable to potted meat...soft and "mushy." The mashed potatoes were dry and lacked any real flavor. The flatiron steak added to the Cobb Salad was "soft." It was either over marinated or over tenderized; the results were subpar. We also had bread pudding; it too was subpar. It was hard (the top was burnt) and lacked the promised bourbon in the sauce. It was a big disappointment! On the bright side, the chicken alfredo pasta, Baja Chicken Bowl, Cajun Chicken Sandwich, and the Cobb Salad itself were tasty. EOM

   This was our third visit and we were celebrating a birthday. Each time we visit, including this one, Federal American Grill is just different from other restaurants. The servers are attentive but not pushy, the food tastes like it is actually made from scratch and the ambience is upscale but not uptight. Perfect for a date night, any type of celebration and yet it is also very family friendly. We’ll be back!

    The atmosphere was alive and energetic. The food was fantastic as was the service. If you love great Bourbons & Whiskey's they had an amazing selection. I would highly recommend adding any of the Federal Grill locations to the top of your dinning list.
