We visited Farmer's Table for the first time and had a good experience. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. We split a wedge salad, which was more than enough for the 2 of us. My husband had the short-rib pizza and I had the shrimp pistachio pasta; both were very good, with large portions enough to bring home and have for another meal. The food came out very quickly. The only negative comment we have is about the ambiance; the decor is rustic, we get that, but not cozy and inviting. And the dining room is entirely too bright for evening service. Cement flooring not very attractive; maybe add some throw rugs around? Otherwise, we enjoyed our evening and will definitely be returning.

We made a reservation for toddler and they didn’t give us good service or waitress has too many tables or something. Looks like this restaurant is under staff.

We went for Christmas dinner as they had a nice Prix Fixe menu posted on their website. When we got there (1:00 pm) we were given the brunch/lunch menu. I inquired and our snappy waiter said it was for dinner. I looked again and the menu clearly said Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with no time limitations. When I asked another server I was told that it was at other locations (again, the link was directly from the Chula Vista's page). Wait staff seemed like they didn't wan't to be there, eggs benedict came out luke warm and wattery as if the eggs hadn't been drained. Disappointing.

First time here. Food was just ok. I had the meat lovers omelet, and the sauce on it was terrible! Price was overpriced. Service was very good. Probably won’t return.
