Chef proprietor Dylan McGrath & his team have created this more casual dining experience for Fade Street Social. The Woodfired Restaurant has a menu featuring wood-fired dishes, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether you’re catching a show at the theatre, heading out for a night on the town, or simply enjoying a meal with friends, this part of Fade Street provides a fun, yet relaxed and more affordable dining experience.


The Woodfired menu specialises in cooking food over hot coals, to achieve more unique flavours and textures. The smoke from the coals imparts a smoky flavour, while the heat caramelises the sugars in the food, creating a crispy exterior and a tender interior. Wood-fired cooking is a traditional cooking method that has been enjoyed for centuries, we've now brought some of that to Fade Street Social.


Ascend to the first floor and discover our New York-style cocktail bar and roof garden, offering snacks, cocktails, great music and fantastic views.

    On Valentine’s Day the restaurant was overwhelmed. Our dinner took 3hours and service rarely visited each table. The tables around also experienced delays and the manager offered free drinks but was not able to expedite service.

    Extremely disappointed as the set menu on valentines night for 65 euro was not advertised or stated when booking - a different menu was shown A number of people were heard asking the same question.

    Had valentines menu, set menu. Soup tasted really well, but it was luke warm, we went with steak to share, while steak was hot, plates that we were given were stone cold. So when you place steak on a cold plate, its cold in instant. Desert was Hot chocolate chip cookie with ice-cream, let me tell you cookie was cold, not even slightly warm. For 180 for 2 ppl I was expecting a better food, drinks were excellent.

    Excellent experience from start to finish.. Really enjoyed our meal at Fade Street Social. The chateaubriand was cooked to perfection. Great cocktails and our waitress Ayleen was lovely and attentive. Would definitely return

    Such a great lunch at Fade Street Social’s Woodfired Restaurant yesterday! The food was absolutely delicious—Definitely one of my favorite spots in the Dublin. Booked in for drinks in the rooftop terrace after and it was a great day!

    Hands down, the best Sunday roast in Dublin! Chef Dylan McGrath has absolutely nailed it—perfectly cooked meat, rich, flavorful gravy, and all the trimmings done just right. If you love a great roast, this one is a must-try!

    Overall a lovely evening with splendid service from lovely friendly and charming servers. Food was really nice, presentation excellent, and tasted great. However my husband insists that my cooking tastes better, service almost as charming and presentation more seductive (of course)! I’ll be back for more (husband too, whether he likes it or not).
