   Our server was very attentive. The garden is lovely a tad bit chilly but they have heat lamps. The wine & food were delicious. We ordered a savory salad, Mac n cheese, the pork chop, sea bass, a burger and the panna cotta. I’ve been a handful of times over the years & it’s always a nice meal. I’d recommend it if you’re wanting brunch or dinner in a garden setting.

   Food was mediocre - no water except tap and sparkling. Service was lacking in expedition and we waited an hour for salad. For all the rave and hoopla, I won’t come back or suggest Fable to any visitors to SF. Very disappointed to say the least.

   The second time I have dined here in 3 years. I'm never disappointed. The menu has something for everyone and the quality is excellent. What a wonderful, thoughtful design.

   Our first time trying Fable and we had a great experience! The food was amazing, wine was impeccable, service was outstanding. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and the entrees we had the pork chop and the cheeseburger. Both were outstanding in their presentation and were absolutely delicious. We loved the outdoor patio which was extremely charming. It rained while we were there! For dessert, we got the strawberry cobbler which was so good! We'll definitely be telling friends and family and will come back again

   Service was absolutely awful. Took over 17 minutes for our server to come over to take drink orders. It was obvious they were short staffed. Food was just meh.. it’s too bad this place has gone downhill. Such great potential if this was managed by different management

    I’ve been there several times before and was happy to return. But today’s service was poor. They seemed to have forgotten the order (several others who came later were served first), coffee was cold (twice) and no apologies were given. I’ll likely return reluctantly, in hopes that they had an off day.
