   Amazing food - they were out of gumbo which was disappointing but these things happen. Very loud but otherwise great ambiance

   Overall, the experience was very disappointing. From the check-in process where the person was not particularly friendly and squeezed us into a booth even though we had a reservation. It was almost 10 minutes before our server came to our table. And the food was not good. The biscuits were too doughy, and the braised beef short rib was so tough that I could not even cut it with a knife and did not eat it.

   Food was a mixed bag. Pork chop was overcooked and dry. The grits were some of the best we had in Jackson. The service was average. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance and seemed to be a place for friends to gather after work and enjoy each other's company.

   Such a great restaurant, I was very impressed. All of the food was delicious and had great flavor. My favorite was the caesar salad w/ fried oysters. Will definitely be back!!
