   Food was excellent and came very quick. Our server was very attentive and engaged, a bit too much to be honest but I suppose that’s better than being surly! It is a bit expensive for some of the more simple dishes (eg. 2 egg breakfast), but totally get its Kahala and 2025 lol

   I recently had brunch at Et Al in Kahala, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! Every dish we tried was a testament to the creativity and quality of the restaurant. We started with the Mochi Waffle, which was perfectly crisp on the outside and wonderfully chewy on the inside, with fresh fruit toppings. It was a unique twist on a classic favorite, and the flavors were spot on. The Bulgogi Pizza was another standout. The combination of the savory bulgogi and the perfectly baked crust created a harmony of flavors that was both satisfying and delicious, with just the right amount of spice. Our server did a fantastic job of suggesting we add a poached egg, which added the perfect combination of creamy and savory. The Short Rib Loco Moco was hearty and flavorful, with tender short rib that practically melted in your mouth. It was a comforting dish, full of rich, deep flavors that hit all the right notes. The crispy onions gave it a nice texture the perfect amount of crunch. And to complete the meal, we had the Summer Berry Mascarpone Bar, which was the perfect ending to our meal. The mascarpone was light and creamy, and the fresh fruit added a refreshing touch that balanced the richness beautifully. The Basil crunch topping gave the dish a perfect blend of flavors. Overall, Et Al in Kahala exceeded our expectations with its innovative dishes and exceptional flavors. We can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!

   Outstanding food and service. The only thing keeping me from noting top ratings, is that their prices are on the high side, and I was charged $1.00 for extra dressing without being advised that there would be a charge. While I could have asked, I appreciate waithelp that notify customers whenever extra charges are applied to requests. Customers should be given the option to confirm or cancel the request.

   Always one of our go-to eats especially for special occasions. Pretty sure I’ve reviewed Et Al before, but happy to comment on my loco moco for lunch: braised beef that was very tender and juicy over a bed of rice and topped w/ a sunnyside up egg and savory gravy presumably from the brisket itself rather than the common brown gravy. Also topped with thinly sliced fried onion rings, which gave it some texture and more savory flavor. Portion was just right, not too filling but enough to satisfy any hunger (I’m 6’1” and somewhere past 220 lbs).

   My favourite place for brunch! Love the soft shell crab benedict! My girlfriend who lives in Mililani is always willing to meet here as I live in Aina Haina! It was very crowded today so other people must love it too!

    The brunch menu is solid and the server Mikael is awesome. Second time having him in nearly a year…wonderful!
