   Dinner was good, nice ambience and interesting menu. Portion sizes were nice, not too large and the produce used was fresh and tasty.

   We celebrated a significant birthday and couldn’t fault the night. Amazing food all cooked by one single female chef. Ultra organised and served with the only other staff in a cheerful and knowledgeable way Well done

   Lovely experience at Essen. The best in local produce prepared to perfection and incredible service. A lovely and memorable evening of Deliciousness. I’ll be back. Highly recommended.

   Always amazing, the most surprising combinations that always work! We always make sure to visit wherever we’ve in the area. The team are attentive and informative, though never overwhelming 10/10 will Essen again

   Every course was served with pride, and deservedly so. Each dish was creative and expertly prepared, as well as being perfect portion sizes. Friendly and attentive service. The ambience is that of "Nonna's kitchen" and a bit noisy. However we dined here because of the inspired menu and were not disappointed.

    The food is always exceptional at Essen. Even when there is something on the menu that I think will not be my favourite, it ends up being totally delicious every time! Excellent service and very attentive staff, without feeling you are being hovered over. One of our favourite places anywhere to dine.
