   La carne al chimichurri estuvo muy buena , el ceviche también estuvo bien , pero los frijoles charros y el arroz les faltaba cocción, se veía muy bueno y cuando lo probé estaba duro , el platillo decía verduras cocidas y sólo traía lechuga y tomate , las tortillas de harina también estaban crudas

   with all of the amazing latin cuisine in the Houston area, Escalante's just isn't great. the food is okay, but certainly not worth the prices. especially when ordering higher-end dishes such as seafood, $30+ per plate, yet they don't even know how to prepare the dish. who serves salmon well done?!? and their basic dishes, like tacos, just aren't great. their chips and salsa aren't even great. save your money and try another latin restaurant, there are so many options!

   The food was excellent and we didn't leave smelling like Mexican food. While it was hard to top the food, the service was exceptional. Justin was attentative but not overly so. It was our first time at Escalante's but I am confident we will be back.

   We arrived early and enjoyed a delicious Margarita and chips with salsa. Their "Perfect" Margarita is reasonable and very tasty. Once we sat at our table, our fajitas and enchiladas were very good.

   This was our first time in ans we really enjoyed it overall. We really appreciated Mexican coke on the menu. The only food we wouldn't order again is the queso. We didn't like it in our opinion.

    Waiter was not very attentive and stayed at others tables for a long time, walk by or table and glance and keeps walking
