We're a bit like our hometown: sophisticated, well-traveled, but grounded in our roots. We believe there's nothing more important than taking time to dine well with family and friends in a beautiful space. And we have a passion for all things Bluegrass - curing our meats in-house, supporting the region's diverse farming and food community, and keeping a local-first mindset in everything we do. Epping's is located in a renovated historic building that once held Epping Bottling Works, home to the hustle and spirit of local entrepreneur John G. Epping. Today, we are proud to honor that history and be part of the energy of downtown Lexington's Warehouse Block.

What can I say. Creative takes on traditional dishes, the small plates are absolutely amazing! As a foodie I've been privileged to have had some of the best dishes from some of the most acclaimed restaurants and I have to say I was blown away! I'd recommend 4 small plates to share. That way you can experience multiple dishes. Portions are perfect for two. We had the mushroom bruschetta, crab cakes, beef takaki and Brussel sprouts. Be sure to start with one of their drink specials from the bar or a glass of wine from an extensive wine list. And half price drinks at happy hour if you get there early. Officially our new favorite restaurant in Lexington!

Happy hour - a great deal. Cocktails on point, food -taste and presentation. Service was solid. Noise level perfect for holding a conversation. I’ll be back.

We had a reservation but arrived early and were seated right away. Our server made helpful suggestions and man, were we blown away when our food arrived! Beyond delicious! We have eaten at a variety of restaurants all over the country but the combination of flavors can’t even be described! Definitely order the gnocchi.

Our server, Zach, took good care of us. The food was well prepared and tasted good. Our drinks from the bar were also good but took a little while to get to the table. Glad to see more menu items that didn’t have cilantro in them.

Lovely mix of formal but relaxed (not stuffy). Four people for a celebration weekend brunch. We ordered what we wanted and came out of there with paying same as some grab and go venues. Food was delicious, elegantly arranged on plates, and came quickly (timely for made to order). Really happy that we chose Eppings for this occasion.

A very varied menu…delicious offerings! Highly recommend the lamb kabobs, fried pickles, and butternut squash tamales! My only complaint is that it seemed they were understaffed. Our nice waiter had way too many tables…
