   We’ve gone to Epic multiple times over the years. Hadn’t been since 2018/2019. Definitely noticed some differences:No valet, no offer to check your coat when being seated, but these were not big deals. Just remember the great service before. Overall service was great and server Dana was amazing! Food was fantastic as I remembered. We dined with my niece and nephew in law from Los Angeles . They loved it ! We will not wait so long to return . Always a great time ! Thank you

   Unfortunately, EPIC STEAKHOUSE was an EPIC MISTEAK!! pun intended This place has an outstanding view - and not much else... boring menu...horrible presentation...felt like a Cheesecake Factory for big kids...faux interiors, lousy execution of meals, sloppy plating. Lobster entree, described as a 1 1/2# Maine Lobster a TOTAL bait & switch. At $180 per person I expect much more than this level of mediocrity. Do NOT waste your time, money.....

   We love returning to this restaurant whenever in San Francisco! The food is always delicious, and the ambiance is amazing being right on the water with a great view of the Bay Bridge! Definitely try this place out of in San Francisco!

   We’ve dined at Epic many times for celebrations and other steak-worthy events and have enjoyed our meals. However, our most recent experience was a significant departure food-wise. Still a stunning setting, and our server Candace was excellent. The steaks, however, were not up to the usual standard—particularly the rib-eye and the New Yorks. Very disappointing food quality. One exception—the Julia Child potatoes were delicious as always.

    I recently dined at Epic Steakhouse and had a mostly enjoyable experience. While the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was top-notch, the steak itself was just mediocre. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with great attention to detail in the decor. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. As for the steak, it was cooked to the requested level of doneness, but the flavor didn’t stand out as much as I’d hoped. It was a bit underwhelming for a steakhouse, especially given the quality of everything else. On the other hand, the sides were exceptional. The shrimp appetizer was delicious along with the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. All in all, while the steak didn’t meet expectations, the overall experience was still positive. I would be happy to return for the sides and the service, and perhaps give the steak another try.
