   My wife and I have long since abandoned the expense of “fine dining” finding all too often that one was paying more for meticulous food presentation but few special food flavours. Enoteca Boccaccio gave us both on March 24, 2025, coupled with excellent service and vibrant atmosphere. A wonderful evening. Thank you.

   Both entrees were nice. Had to seek waiter to get wine glass refilled. Main pasta dish the chef was very heavy handed with pepper in the dish- to the point where I was sweating when eating- so quite disappointing. Other main pasta dish was very nice.

   The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and efficient, but the food was a let-down. At this price level, I would expect more subtlety in the cooking, but there was a tendency to over salt and overcook. I was particularly disappointed by the tarte tatin, which was caramelised well beyond the point of bitterness, to the extent that we couldn't taste the fruit at all.

    One of the best dining and wine experiences I’ve enjoyed in a long time. Every dish was amazing. Wine list to die for with very logical and reasonable pricing.
