   Absolutely fabulous! Couldn’t have had better service and wonderful meal for a birthday celebration for my lovely mom.  Thank you to all the staff and Jo for a lovely time to be remembered! They even gave us a gift for Valentine’s Day two days after.

   I have loved going to the English Rose Tea Room when in Arizona ; however I found the sponge cake dry and not spongy and the scones turned into crumbs when we tried to put the cream and jam on them. My sister did not care for the macarons. Hopefully we came on a bad day

   Always the best ! Service, atmosphere and food … we had just desserts everything was fresh … vanilla black tea was delicious… trendy settings to take pictures my daughter always has fun

   This is a long time favorite of many and very popular. It is over an hour drive for us to this tea room, so it is for special occasions. A friend had just had a 76th birthday and we had been able to finally get together to celebrate. We felt the scones and sandwiches in November were better than today, but overall, the food was still good. The full tea is plated beautifully. We were only offered strawberry jam. If one at our table had not asked, we would not have received lemon curd, which is a favorite. The Caramel Peach tea is a new favorite! Our table was very small for 4 people. We also missed the fine print that the table would be available for 90 minutes and we stayed about 95 minutes, plus we were seated a little after our reserved time, so we were probably within the 90 minute time frame. We realized toward the end of our time, that the next party came early and were waiting and watching us for quite some time. I asked our server about 75 minutes in if there was a time limit, and she said that we were fine, they were just a bit backed up on reservations. It just made us uncomfrotable. We did not want rush our party, but we wanted to be respectful. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told our table was not ready, and we went outside and walked around for a bit. I think it is much more polite to ask the waiting guests to step aside and not stare at the tables! This morning I checked the reservation and found in the fine print the 90 minute time. I think the restaurant should have this more noticeable. 90 minutes for a full tea is pretty quick, but we do understand the restaruant is very busy. Overall, would still recommend.

    I often take family and friends to English Rose. I love the atmosphere and food. The staff are friendly and always greet with a smile. Very relaxing.
