Empire Steak House, conveniently located at 237 west 54 street near Broadway in New York City, showcases modern décor in a classy, but trendy atmosphere. The all-white marble bar and sprawling dining room provide an additional air of sophistication. While Empire's steaks are acclaimed for its famous dry-aged porterhouse for two, the rest of the vast menu is equally stellar, featuring a wide range of fresh seafood such as 4-to 5-lb lobsters, Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon, Yellow Fin Tuna, towering seafood platters, and much more. The eatery offers a highly selective wine list and features many of California's most sought-after vintages. The Zagat rated restaurant is owned and operated by the Sinanaj family. The Sinanaj's success dates back to their first restaurant opening of Empire Steak House in 2010. The space is 4,500 square feet and can accommodate 230 guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, private rooms available!

We came here in January 2023 and enjoyed ourselves so we came back before seeing a broadway play and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves again.

Food was outstanding - Porterhouse for 2 medium rare was cooked perfectly!! We did have some leftover…Sautéed Asparagus was shaved so it made it very crisp - again perfectly cooked. Cocktails were also excellent as was the wait staff! It was a bit loud but died down after a bit - our reservation was at 6:15 on a Friday night. We could have sat at a high top in the bar area but wanted the restaurant experience - although it would have been a bit quieter! Definitely recommend a visit.

Our meal was amazing from the beginning! The ambience was exactly what we were looking for. The food was absolutely delicious, lamb was cooked to perfection! The manager and staff were all very friendly!

While I rated the service 4 instead of 5 it wasn’t because it was bad just a little slow. I think they wanted us to enjoy our time there and we did not feel rushed at all. The food was very good and the noise level was perfect for conversation. I recommend highly.

Dated decor, food was ok but not the wow that I had expected from other reviews, it all seemed rushed there isn’t any toilets facilities you have to leave the restaurant and go the hotel next door where there is one unisex wc in the lobby, won’t be going back im afraid.
