Emmy Squared has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies. The pizza here is rectangular and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy, cheesy crust. Beyond pizza, the menu includes salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich)! Did we mention this is Emmy Squared’s ORIGINAL location? Full service bar, local drafts & wine selection. Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Had a lovely brunch with a friend and the staff was so kind! I noted our dietary restrictions (celiac) in advance and they were so prepared to let us know immediately the gluten free pizza crust and salads on the menu were save for us! They were so hospitable and the food at Emmy Squared is always great so overall a fab visit!

We loved the sweet man who was running the entire front of house while we were there. I didn’t catch his name but he made me feel super special on my birthday!

So we made a reservation when we got there it was empty and so were the other tables. It was completely empty aside from us and two other couples however they sat us next to the door and it pretty cold. Aside from that the food just was not really that great we had the garlic bread sticks that were just extremely greasy and just too much cheese and I love cheese but it was just too much. The pesto pasta was another item that we’re not expecting to literally just be baked cheese with pesto sauce. The pizza was ok however it was just okay. We wanted other things off the menu however they stated they ran out or just didn’t have it. In my personal opinion it was just not worth $100 worth of food. The staff was friendly but the food as a pregnant person at that was just oily.

Delicious pizza and food but way too dark in the basement to see the menu or the food. We were a young group and the lighting was really difficult to deal with when dining.
