   Have been hearing good things about Emilia's for a while, so pleased to finally get there with some food loving friends. It didn't disappoint. We shared the whole menu between 6 of us and it was all delicious. Will definitely return, thank you.

   As always a lovely setting and atmosphere. The food maybe not so good as previous occassions: the anchovy and radichio salad wasn't great and the quince icecream had very little taste. The bread, cheese and pasta dish were all good. Maybe efforts have moved down the road to Le Vin Perdu?

   Excellent in all respects. Great menu, knowledgeable waitress, very tasty food If you suffer from back pain be aware that some bookings are on bar stools - perfectly ok but be aware. Thanks, Emilia!

   Absolutely amazing lunch. Perfect ambiance and decor, lighting just right, candles on tables even at lunch (which I think is such a great touch), wonderfully attentive service, relaxed atmosphere. Food exquisite, and the non-alc spritzes were divine. A new Devon highlight for me.

   We had an exceptional meal here last night. We don't ever choose Italian restaurants because of the predictability of the menu but this experience was completely different. Very friendly & informative staff to help us with the things we didn't recognise on the menu. Lovely atmosphere & lighting & exceptional food. Everything we ate was delicious & after having 2 starters, 3 larger plates, 2 desserts, a beer & 500ml of wine for the 2 of us, we were also pleasantly surprised by the bill. Can't recommend highly enough.

   Absolutely fantastic, one of my new favourite restaurants and I would recommend to anyone - the goat curd dish was delicious, we’ll be back xx

    Tapas style tasty small plates. Lovely pickled shallots, sweet prunes and fennel. Delicious red mullet under oil. And beautifully cooked and scrummy new potatoes. An absolute pleasure.
