   Spent my husband's birthday here, what a lovely experience. Fantastic food, attentive professional staff. We ordered 2 glasses of champagne but they didn't have any so have us complimentary prosecco which was a nice touch

   We went for a Sunday dinner and it was amazing! One of the best dinners I’ve had in Sunderland. Service was great. All of the girls were so friendly, polite and accommodating. The manager was also great and took my baby for a little wonder around to stop the tears whilst we ate. Just made it really personal overall. Highly recommend.

   From the moment we entered to leaving the experience was lovely. Food excellent, service first class from the manger to the waitress. Advice to help us choose a wine .Overall can’t fault the evening. Starters was lovely especially chicken skewer, butternut squash Katsu curry was delicious, we ordered 2 sides for a party of 6 and probably didn’t need them, but ate them anyway. Puddings were delicious especially sticky toffee pudding . Would definitely return.

   Amazing as always. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this place with Michelin star soon or at least the guide as minimum

   An excellent lunch yet again for what must be the best restaurant in Sunderland. Japanese month and the food meets expectations. We’ve just returned from a Japanese holiday and the food presentation and taste together with presentation was just superb. Thank you Tam.

    We went to Ember for lunch today, my sister ordered the salmon and I had the burger, we were blown away by how lovely the whole experience was, fantastic food, the staff are so personable especially Dennis who went out of his way to make our day special. Everyone needs to try here it's the best food in the North East. Five stars 🌟
